The hotel was comfy. I liked the excellent staff and large breakfasts.- A double room with a lovely view of the gardens and river, had requested this in advance.- The service was all in all excellent.

The hotel is in a MAGNIFICENT location next to the ferry port, Kilkenny, Rock of Cashel, Hook Lighthouse, and Waterford. It's in a pretty neighborhood.

Despite a minor inconvenience with the lack of taxis in the area, the overall experience was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this charming spot for a pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was good, by the river and near New Ross, Kilkenny, the Rock of Cashel, and the garden. They placed us in a huge and airy double room. The bed was very comfy with electric blankets.

The breakfast was large with homemade granola, a traditional Irish and home-made bread, we truly enjoyed everything. The location was perfect and nice, really close to the Rock of Cashel before heading south to the Hook Lighthouse, Wexford and Waterford. The nearby restaurant is in a lovely peaceful area.
